About Me
From courtside dreams to mountain peaks, my journey as a photographer has been anything but ordinary..
As a high school student, I dreamed of being on the baseline at NBA games, capturing the intensity and grace of professional basketball for Sports Illustrated. The energy, the split-second decisions, the raw emotion - I wanted to freeze it all in time through my lens.
Life, however, had different plans. After graduation, I found myself drawn to the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of Vancouver. While the hardwood courts faded from view, a new passion emerged amidst the snow-capped mountains and thrilling slopes of the Pacific Northwest.
Snowboarding became my new arena, and my camera found a home capturing the adrenaline-fueled world of winter sports. What started as a pivot soon became a thrilling career in its own right. My dedication and unique eye for the perfect shot led to collaborations I never imagined possible.
I've had the honor of shooting with the Canadian Olympic Snowboard team, showcasing our nation's top riders as they push the boundaries of what's possible in the halfpipe. My images have graced marketing campaigns for global brands like McDonald's, bringing the excitement of winter sports to audiences worldwide.
One of my proudest achievements was landing the cover of Snowboard Magazine. Seeing my photograph - a culmination of patience, skill, and a perfect moment - on newsstands was a dream realized in a way I never expected.
While my journey didn't lead me to the NBA courts as I once imagined, it's led me here, and for the opportunity to share my visions through my lens.
